BMPS 2025 Schedule

The tournament is meticulously structured into several phases, ensuring a comprehensive competition among the participating teams:

1. Round 1 (May 22 - June 3, 2025):

   • Participants: 96 teams divided into six groups of 16 each.

   • Format: Each group competes over 12 matchdays, with groups reshuffled every three days.

   • Advancement Criteria:

     • Top 8 teams from overall standings advance directly to Semifinals Week 1.

     • Teams ranked 9th to 16th move to Round 3.

     • Teams ranked 17th to 80th proceed to Round 2.

     • Bottom 16 teams are eliminated.

2. Round 2 (June 5 - 8, 2025):

   • Participants: 64 teams (teams ranked 17th to 80th from Round 1).

   • Format: Divided into four groups of 16 teams each, with each group playing six matches.

   • Advancement Criteria:

     • Top 40 teams advance to Round 3.

     • Bottom 24 teams are eliminated.

3. Round 3 (June 9 - 12, 2025):

   • Participants: 48 teams (40 from Round 2 and teams ranked 9th to 16th from Round 1).

   • Format: Split into three groups of 16 teams each, with groups reshuffled after two days. Each team plays a total of eight matches.

   • Advancement Criteria: Top 24 teams move to Semifinals Week 1.

4. Semifinals Week 1 (June 14 - 17, 2025):

   • Participants: 32 teams (24 from Round 3 and top 8 from Round 1).

   • Format: Divided into four groups of eight teams each, competing in a round-robin format. Each team plays 12 matches.

   • Advancement Criteria:

     • Top 8 teams advance directly to the Grand Finals.

     • Teams ranked 9th to 32nd proceed to Semifinals Week 2.

5. Semifinals Week 2 (June 19 - 22, 2025):

   • Participants: 24 teams from Semifinals Week 1.

   • Format: Divided into three groups of eight teams each, following a double round-robin format. Each team plays 16 matches.

   • Advancement Criteria: Top 8 teams qualify for the Grand Finals.

6. Grand Finals (July 4 - 6, 2025):

   • Participants: 16 teams (8 from Semifinals Week 1 and 8 from Semifinals Week 2).

   • Format: The Grand Finals will be a LAN event held in New Delhi, featuring 18 matches over three days (six matches per day).
