BGIS 2026 Round 4 runs February 19-22 with 128 teams fighting for 56 Quarter Finals spots. Here's the full format, team list, schedule, and what to expect from the most competitive stage yet.
BGIS 2026 Round 4 Is Coming And the Stakes Have Never Been Higher
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2026 is heating up fast. With Round 3 wrapping up on February 15, attention now turns to Round 4, scheduled for February 19–22, 2026 the last online-only stage before teams reach the Quarter Finals.
This is the point in BGIS where the field gets real. 128 teams compete, but only 56 advance directly to the Quarter Finals. Another 8 squads earn a second chance through the Wildcard. For the remaining 64, the journey ends here.
For fan-favourite organisations like iQOO Orangutan, GodLike Esports, and iQOO 8BIT, Round 4 represents a critical juncture these teams did not qualify directly to the Quarter Finals through The Grind and must grind their way through.
BGIS 2026 Round 4 Format: How It Works
Round 4 features 128 teams split into 8 groups of 16. Each group plays 6 matches over the four-day window.
Qualification pathways from Round 4:
Top 7 teams from each group (56 teams total) advance directly to the Quarter Finals (Feb 26 – Mar 1)
Top 8 teams among all remaining non-qualifying squads (8 teams) advance to the Wildcard round (Mar 5–8)
Everyone else is eliminated from BGIS 2026
The maps played across Round 4 are Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo, using Squads TPP mode. Points are scored on the standard BGIS system: placement points (10 for 1st, down to 1 for 7th/8th place) plus 1 point per elimination.

Teams Competing in BGIS 2026 Round 4
Round 4's 128-team lineup comes from two sources. The majority 112 teams qualified directly from Round 3 based on group and overall standings. The remaining 16 slots are filled by seeded teams from The Grind:

Why Round 4 Is the Most Important Stage So Far
Every round in BGIS 2026 has had meaningful stakes, but Round 4 is qualitatively different for one key reason: the invited teams join the open-qualification teams in the same lobby for the first time.
Throughout Rounds 1-3, the main League Stage teams had been largely separated from the seeded contingent. In Round 4, The Grind's bottom half of Group A and the top half of Group B enter the fray mixing established pros like Orangutan, GodLike, and 8BIT with hungry squads who clawed their way through three brutal online rounds.
This creates explosive, unpredictable lobbies where a team that nobody knows can end the campaign of a household BGMI name. For fans, that dynamic is exactly what makes BGIS's format so compelling.
Teams on the Brink: iQOO Orangutan, GodLike & More
A few storylines are particularly worth tracking heading into Round 4:
iQOO Orangutan finished 11th in The Grind Group A, sending them to Round 4 rather than directly to the Quarter Finals. As one of India's most decorated BGMI rosters, their journey through the lower bracket is one of the biggest redemption arcs of BGIS 2026.
Hero Xtreme GodLike another powerhouse faces a similar path. A top-seven finish across Round 4 group play is non-negotiable if they want to see the Quarter Finals.
iQOO 8BIT, Rapid Chaos Esports, and Reckoning Esports are also names that BGMI fans will be watching closely as the field tightens and margins shrink.
Quarter Finals: What's Waiting on the Other Side
Teams that survive Round 4 will reach the Quarter Finals (Feb 26 - Mar 1), featuring 64 teams across 4 groups of 16. From there, the top 16 overall advance to the Semi Finals making the QF one of the most pivotal stages in the entire BGIS 2026 circuit.
The 8 teams that already secured direct Quarter Finals spots from The Grind Group A - K9 Esports, Gods Reign, True Rippers, Higgboson Esports, Blitz Esports, Autobotz Esports, Team SouL, and Nebula Esports will be waiting there. The teams coming from Round 4 will need to be sharp from Day 1 of the QF to compete with squads that have had more rest.
