Round 1 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 main event has concluded with surprising performances from underdog teams. In this stage, 1024 teams from the in-game qualifiers battled for advancement to Round 2. Each group participated in 3 matches, with the top 7 teams from each group progressing, totaling 448 teams.

Furthermore, 32 teams based on overall standings among the remaining teams also secured a spot in Round 2. Overall, 480 teams have successfully moved on to Round 2 from Round 1.

Experienced teams like Team XSpark, Medal Esports, Team Zero or Velocity Gaming advancing to Round 2 from Round 1.
